On July 30 I
worked from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM for a total of seven hours. I have worked for
a total of 149 hours this summer at THS. The previous week I did not attend my
internship because of a vacation I took visiting family. After the usual staff
meeting everybody attended a tutorial on using the museum and archiving
software “PastPerfect.” This was very useful since I am interested in museum
and archival work and most small to mid size institutions use the software or something
similar. The software helps to catalogue items and keep track of donations and
gifts.
